The five lochs between Blairgowrie and Dunkeld provide the
perfect setting for birdwatching and angling.
The Cateran Trail, a five night, serviced
route is a firm favourite with walkers.
Winter
sporting activities are well catered for.
Glenshee
Ski Centre
is a short drive north on the A93 to Braemar and Royal
Deeside.
Blairgowrie has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants
and pubs, all within walking distance of our guest house.
There
are regular Highland games taking place together with
the annual vintage car rally held at
Glamis Castle and classic
motor bike rally here in Blairgowrie. Perth races, a twenty
minute drive.
A scenic trip to Ballater and Braemar where the
famous gathering takes place each September approximately an
hours drive.
An open air prom and picnic is held annually at
Glamis Castle on
the Perthshire / Angus borders.
Hillwalking,
canoeing, golf and horse riding are but a few of the many
activities available to guests.

which must be nearing one hundred years old.

Rosyth terminal 40 minutes Edinburgh and Glasgow 90 minutes

We
regret we are unable to accommodate children
under
the age of 16.
Disabled
vistors
Regrettably we do not have ground floor accommodation
for disabled visitors as all our bedrooms
are on the first
and second floors.
The area is ideal for walking, fishing / angling on the Rivers Ericht, Isla and Tay.
Dunkeld provides the perfect setting for birdwatching at Loch of the Lowes.
Winter sports activities at Glenshee.
Close to Glamis Castle, the childhood home of the late H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother. Visit Scone Palace, Scottish castles and gardens.
There are various hotels and restaurants nearby.
We are happy to make table reservations on your behalf.
